Gifting has arrived! 

To get started with the gifting system, go to the D&D beyond Marketplace and start adding things to your cart. Once you’re ready to checkout, hit the “Gift” checkbox to turn your entire cart into a gift purchase. Once you’ve checked out, you’ll receive product keys that you can give to your friends as a gift. 

Here's a list of the most common questions we've seen so far:

Can I gift something more than once? 

Yes!

Does the app support gifting? 

No, It does not at this time. 

Will my friend get previously purchased content credits towards bundles? 

Yes! The gift recipient will get credit for the amount of money you spent as well as any money they have spent on individual purchases. 

Can I gift something that I've already purchased? 

Yes!

Will my previously purchased content discount my gift? 

No, discounts given for previously purchased content do not apply to gifts. 

Do coupon codes still apply to my gift? 

Yes!

If I buy a book as a gift during pre-orders, will the person I give it to get those pre-order bonuses? 

Yes, but gifted pre-orders must be redeemed during the pre-order window to include the pre-order perks!

Can I gift subscriptions? 

No, unfortunately, not at this time. 

Where do I find my gift product keys?

You can find your gift product keys in the "My Gifts" section here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/marketplace

Can I or the gift recipient return the gift? 

No. All sales are final on the digital content which includes digital content purchased as a gift. However, You can contact the D&D Beyond support team in the event of a problem through the email form 

Is there a "gift card" like experience? 

Yes! If you would like to present the gift to someone, you can go to the Gift Product Keys section, click on the product key and you will be taken to a nicely formatted Gift Card with the product key on it. This can be downloaded as an image, printed, and mailed to someone. Here is an example of the gift card image:
