Thanks for the feedback on this and I can confirm we will be focusing a great deal on screen reader accessibility starting in 2019.

I am a professional web accessibility tester. I have had a somewhat easier experience using the Character Builder with VoiceOver on Mac, but the modal dialogs are still problematical. I will reach out via the official contact form to offer my experience.

I’m also totally blind and trying your app out. I’m using an iPad Pro and iPhone 12 Pro, both using iOS v14.7.1. Even trying to confirm my character’s race is inaccessible. The fact that these problems still exist four years after this topic was originally posted is discouraging at best. I’d love to give you my money, but until these features are more usable, I just can’t do so in good conscience. I’d love to help in any way I can. I’ve been playing role-playing games, including D&D, since 1982, having to adapt everything from dice to just being able to read the PHB to my needs. D&D Beyond would be perfect for blind people if it were accessible, since dice and rules are literally at one’s fingertips. I realize we are a niche market. We are still a market, and could be a much bigger market if screen-reader support were given more than the apparent afterthought.

Thanks for any help or recommendations you can give.
