Custom Actions for Homebrew Magic Items

I would love the ability to add a custom action to a players list of actions when they attune/wield a specific homebrew magic item.

For example I have a Great Axe with the Thrown property, I would love to add a custom action that "As a bonus action" the wielder can pull an enemy towards them

  When you create a homebrew item using the homebrew item creator, you can add actions (w/ descriptions) that will appear in the appropriate combat section on the character sheet. When you customize your action in the builder, you choose the type of action (action, bonus action, reaction, other) where the snippet and sidebar description text will appear.

  You can also customize an action directly from the character sheet if you wish to add another action that's not already included.

  In other words, unless I'm misunderstanding the suggestion, I believe it's already a feature.

  It isn't possible to create custom actions associated with a homebrew item through the homebrew creator. Custom actions can be added to Feats or Racial Traits, for example, but not to items.

  The workarounds are to:
  - Create a custom action from within the character sheet that corresponds to the item's ability (which to a degree defeats the purpose of creating the homebrew item ahead of time)
  - Create a homebrew feat and add the action to it, and direct the player to also give themselves the feat when they get the item

  Definitely want this! Was going to post basically the same issue in fact, as I'd like to see it go a bit further.

  I'd like to see Magic Items gain access to all the same sections as Feats, which would mean Actions, Creatures and Options. Only Options would require new UI support in the character sheet so it's less critical, it should also probably wait until a similar issue (to expand Feat Options to function like class/race options) is completed.

  This has been in the requests since 2018 and is still yet to be properly addressed, it is regularly being posted about on the forum with people asking if there's any news on the development plans of this feature.

  Stormknight has also posted on the forums that they have raised it with the dev team, seemingly multiple times yet we have not received any feedback on what the response from the developers has been... it would be lovely to at least have some sort of idea where this request is in terms of status/progress.

  Definitely want to add my support to this. I had to add an item that has +2 on damage rolls and ended up just using a custom action on my character. Works for my sheet but not for the players that I want to help by adding to them.
