View All Content During Character Creation
PlannedSo far I've had multiple (3) separate conversations about locating a certain race or subclass on DnD Beyond. I myself have had to look up races and subclasses through Wikipedia to see exactly which book contained the race or subclass that I wanted DOZENS of times. As WotC adds more content this issue will only get worse.
Given that D&D Beyond is attempting to sell this content, it seems pretty ridiculous that it is so difficult to find it in the first place. It would be much more intuitive to view all content and simply gray it out if it is currently unowned (and probably link it to the applicable purchase option pack). It would also be useful to include a toggle (similar to the toggles for play-test content and etc) to turn unowned material on or off.
Additional thought - if we were able to view all content during character creation it would advertise the unowned content. Even if all that is shown is the grayed out name of a subclass - those names are cool and would trigger my curiosity so I would do additional research to see if purchasing them would be worth my while. As it stands now, I might be missing out on potentially awesome character combinations because my owned content sounds pretty good and I'm not motivated to figure out what I don't currently know.

Displaying all options (unlocked and locked) is planned - currently for 2019.
Update Note:
No, this feature (obviously) did not end up being prioritized for 2019, and it is still not at this point. This is an example of us adapting to community feedback and changing our plans.
Based on the voting here, there are other areas of focus prior to us tackling this one. It is still definitely planned, but it is not on the immediate horizon.
Thanks!
