This is a must have for the app to be of real use.

I'm with Chris, this is needed for character sheet use in areas where data signal is not consistent enough for the website to be reliable

This will be more popular than you realize.

I think when this is complete you will see a huge surge in subscribers and users. A lot of my friends like DnD Beyond but don't like relying on a website and were unimpressed with the app compared to the site. I think for players this feature is for sure the biggest draw for people who are on the fence about DnD beyond.

    Keep up the good work!

Not only that, as a GM I would love to see all my player characters in one app

A character sheet feature is the only reason to install the app. Accessing books can be done in hard copy or PDF, so the current app is redundant to published materials. DNDBeyond will get more subscribers when there is actual content to subscribe to. Otherwise we're just investing in your "planned" features.

Agreed with what everyone above stated.  Get this squared away sooner rather than later and get more sales.

I agree. Mobile character sheet should be the top priority.

I cannot support this enough. Why this wasn’t implemented into the initially release is a true mystery.

I love the app with each update but offline-mode character sheets that pull from downloaded sourcebooks would be game-changing.

Very excited for this feature.  I agree with Scott, it would be game changing and help get all of my players on board with using the app.  Right now they are managing their character sheets in 3rd party apps and it forces me to bounce between apps.  Very frustrating.

As a work around you or players can use the browser on their mobile apps for characters.

A couple of my players do that and I think the mobile site interface is pretty slick so far.  The others prefer their apps which is their choice.  It would be nice to just have it all in one area, but I get that there is a LOT of development going on.  Glad to see the progress and excited for future updates!

Yeah, other than having the Char Sheet offline, I'm not sure what the big deal is. The web app works great!

Watch the Dev Updates. They're hinting towards some amazing development that I would imagine would need to incorporate the char sheet.

I'd rather wait, they're absolutely CRxSH'ing their development on this!

Frankly, I'd rather have something that works great and can be developed upon than something that was rushed and pushed out to apease the masses.

I’m not sure what your tech stack is, but this should be fairly simple if you use a GraphQL API. Using React Native for both the site and App would allow for massive amounts of reusable code.

If you watch the latest dev update, they do talk about the fact that they're currently going to leave the current app as a compendium reader app, and making additional DM-focused and player-focused apps; character sheet/management will be in the player-focused app.

The app that you guys have now is really disappointing. and needing internet connection and having a browser open is really annoying for a character sheet and makes it so that we don't use it. It's really sad because it has so much potential.
