The DND Beyond forums are great, but one thing they feel like they're missing, is a dedicated place for players who enjoy character optimization to congregate.

  I have a slight concern that such a place is used to "banish"/ send players away who want to talk about their character on general forums or class forums. Its kind of a could be used for good (to draw people of similar interest together) or ill (wanting to be hear they post to general or class forums and are quickly moved to an Optimization aka Max/min thread where no one goes to that people who dislike non-story based discussion can dominate those threads. Based on what I have seen on other forums l feel like the desire starts in the right place but always eventually goes dark.
