Damage Dice as editable property in Magic Weapons

    Could we also change the range?  I'm trying to make a souped up hand crossbow, still not as powerful as a light crossbow but shoots a little farther and has 2d4 instead of 1d6 for damage dice.

    I think this problem would be solved if we could homebrew equipment. I made a request for that already.

    Yeah i would very much like to not have to add extra DMG dice for a base weapon.
