Exclude Filter for Searches
I would like to be able to exclude certain thing when using search filters. For example, let's say you are a Level 2 Druid and want to know all possible beast shapes. You can go to the monsters, select Beast and the correct CR, but you cannot exclude monsters with swimming or flying speeds. Even if you select walking and burrowing speed in the filter, it still shows the monsters, that can walk and swim (which is correct). So it would just be nice to say "all except those with ...".
Another example would be if you want to see all illusion spells of 2nd level or higher. Right now it is possible, but you have to select all spell levels except Cantrip & 1st in the filter and it would be really convenient to just exclude those two.

Yes, I would also like to have the ability to exclude search parameters. Another example is feats. I can exclude certain content, but in a roundabout way. I search for everything but the content I wish to exclude. That same function can't be used in other parameters. I can search for racial requirements, I can't exclude racial requirements.
I'd like to be able to search for spells that Wizards can learn but Sorcerers cannot. Since there's so much overlap, I can only do so by searching for Wizards and excluding Sorcerers.
So on and so forth.

I am 100% behind this.
- I want to be able to filter my spells to exclude 1-2 sources, without having to name every source except that one.
- I want to be able to search for spells that belong to any school of magic EXCEPT one.
- I want to be able to look at all levels except 1-2.
Etc....

Richard brings up a good point. Perhaps the fix is to have more consistency across search options (Search vs. Sidebar). FWIW, I believe the developers (per Adam in a recent developer update) are planning an overhaul of the search filter layout/setup and this sort of change may be included.

Excluding character classes from searches due to Bard Magical Secrets, or trying to determine exclusive character class spells, is my use case.
I'd recommend turning the class selection button from a single toggle (on or off) into a 3-way toggle (on/bright to require [allow list], on/bright with a strike through to exclude [deny list], dim to to not be required or excluded).
