Automatic Coin Conversion
If all I have is 1 GP and I need to pay 5 CP, it was always frustrating to have to do the math and make the changes on paper (in larger transactions with multiple items, especially). I would love the ability to use the existing feature to remove 5 CP and be left with 9 SP and 5 CP instead of changing 1 GP to 100 CP and then removing 5 (again, this is a very scaled down example). In my mind it would be a toggleable feature so that those who prefer to do it manually can continue to do so.
I would also find it very useful to have the ability to consolidate my coins. Instead of carrying 476 SP and 637 CP, I could go to a bank, press a button on DDB, and have 53 GP, 9 SP, & 7 SP. In this example, 40 lbs converts to just over 1 if you track coin weight for encumbrance.

So in our group we actually count coin weight, coins, and gems as physical items. This could actually mess us up. Meaning we don't just convert coins we have to make change to spend it correctly or way over pay if all we have is gold and we are buying silver/copper price items. If we had an auto convert it might I might accidently make changes I don't intend. So I this change was implemented I would like it if when I attempt to take more silver than I have I would get a warning, "You don't have that much silver, would you like to convert, round up (1 gold), or cancel this transaction". Perhaps a toggle for "Auto convert on" so people who don't bother with coins as physical item but only in conceptual value can avoid the extra selection they don't need. If those are meet I then support this.

I dont see how you could be making change you dont intend to. If you only have gold and you need to pay for something that has a silver cost, the idea that it is being converted is the innkeeper or vender etc giving you change in the smallest denomination possible. If you dont want change then you are purposefully overpaying then. Simple as that.

If you miss-read what you have but input in the correct column, it excepts and adjusts the gold. The assumption is that the vender in your campaign has change for gold and platinum. My GM often has farmers as venders who only deal in copper and a very small bit of silver and wouldn't normally see a gold peace an a month of trading. This would be my fault for typing in the wrong coin but I have mistaken platinum for silver a couple of times because the coins are vertical in the amounts and horizontal in the input pay bar. Not everyone would car about that so I recommended a simple fix of an ignore switch. So not as simple as that if your GM says it isn't, but it is an easy fix to make it functional both ways on a digital platform. So why would that be a problem? no reason we can't have this feature and the ability to turn it on/off with a warning.
