This might be a little hard to see but please bear with me. The request "Multiple Inventory Management for each character and the group" covers this request. Basically a ship is a container which you put other items in. If you have access to a mule, keep, ship, bag of holding you can transfer items into it. Perhaps even characters.  … That helps half your goal. The rules for UA could be added with the feature request "Game Notes/Journal" as well as the Ghosts of Saltmarsh adventure book for the rest of your request. A ship could be added to the campaign screen for example then any party member could add and remove their character and inventory into or out of the ship container. If you put your vote on those 2 pushing them up you will be more likely get the features you want because they currently have higher visibility. Your use of it sounds cool but the base systems could be made broader so that someone else could do the same thing with a keep from Matt Colville strongholds and followers for example.

While I like the idea for multiple inventory containers and agree that helps with many adjacent issues, I respectfully disagree that these two solutions replicate what I am asking for. I am primarily looking for a way to quickly reference vehicle statistics from a character sheet. This might be premature as the only vehicles that have been given statistics and rules so far are ships from the UA article. It may be that DDB via Wizards know about other things that are still in flux and would not implement a big feature like this until those rules become official. All that being said, my current campaign (and many others' I'm sure) could make use of those rules and features now, so I wanted to get the ball rolling.

Regarding your suggestion to upvote the other requests, I've already done so with the "Game Notes/Journal" (I unwittingly submitted a duplicate suggestion a few weeks back before finding that one). I believe they've already discussed that containers and party inventory will be part of the inventory management revamp, so it sounds like that one is on track.

I can see what you mean about "quickly reference vehicle statistics from a character sheet" not being the same but a container on the campaign tab could have a stat header just as a characters is an container for personal inventory. That said if your hard set on wanting it on the characters sheet … your not wrong, that is different. Like a ship on the animal companion tab. I mean they would add at tab but the same idea. Thanks for considering my post regardless and I hope it works out for you.
