When creating Homebrew class features we can add Options and these Options can have Actions and Modifiers. This allows us to create features with Options and each Options grants a different ability. This ability will then show up on the Character Sheet under Actions, Spells or as a Modifier.
For Feats we can only add Options, but not add abilities to these Options. This means, hat we (The DnDBeyond Team as well I think) need to create multiple feats if we want he Actions to show up properly. You can see that even for official feats like Elemental Adept, Ritual Master, Resilient and a few more.
The Martial Adept feat shows the opposite. There are 16 options in the feat, but no matter what you select, they don’t show up in the actions/reaction… under the character sheet, because they have no Action linked to them. But when you play a Battle Master Fighter and select your maneuvers, they show up under the Actions in the character sheet.
I looked at his more closely by creating a custom subclass with the Battle Master as a base and a custom feat with the Martial Adept as a base and found that it is not possible to add Actions, Modifiers and Spells to Options for feats even though it is possible to do this for class features.
I know that this will probably happen, when the Homebrew Revamp comes around, but because that is a Long-Therm Goal I am hoping that this can be done as a quick fix before then.
