Xanathars Backstory Generator

With a lot of the Xanathars Guide to Everything content added, there is one big thing missing, the fantastic backstory generator.

Now while the majority of experienced players have no end of Backstories and Backup character ideas to try out and experiment with. A lot of new players do not. 

Some think too big, some too small, and some not at all. By adding the tables and procedure that Xanathars offers, it would help out new players answer questions they hadnt thought about, like siblings, or training they may have had before they embarked on the seven seas as a sailor, or how they ended up devoting their life and soul to Tiamat...

It would also add an element of unpredictability for us grizzled vets, and throw interesting narratives we hadnt thought of, or spanners in the works.

To summarise it would add a lot for new players to be able to explore their backstory with a little help from the dice, encourage unpredictability in tire character ideas, make fantastic use of a very useful tool for adding flesh to the bones of a character idea.

  The backstory generator is there. If you're talking about an automatic generator using those tables as a template, yes, that would be helpful, but ultimately pointless.

  Totally agree this would be awesome for the newer players

  Imagine if the "Quick Build" option also gave you an entire backstory built randomly using those tables. That would be great.
