The option to hide the higher-level versions of lower-level spells
I have had several local players and several D&D Beyond Twitch members express grievances over not being able to turn off the option of showing higher-level versions of lower-level spells (i.e. Magic Missile at 9th level). We get the point of why this is there- to help give you the amount of dice you need to roll. The problem major casters (Wizards, Druids, etc.), is their prepared spell list gets cluttered quickly.
The easy option would be the preference to turn this on/off; a more complex variant could be a drop-down adjacent to the spell to show you the spells damage at higher levels, or list it under the spell's description in the side bar.

The spell scaling is something that, I feel, should be off by default. While it's a handy feature to have, the crowding in the listings isn't a very user-friendly default feature. Having it as a filter, however, would be great. Then, when a player needs to actually consider which upcasts they have available to them, they can, but otherwise their view of the spells is, by default, base level only and not a tragic mess of blue.

there are now three separate issues open addressing this concern:

can these be consolidated and/or at least have their up-votes tallied? -
Yes, please. This has also been discussed in the forum thread https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/d-d-beyond-feedback/25670-request-ability-to-remove-upcast-spells

The option was now added as a character preference (not on individual spell level) with the update from June 8th: https://www.dndbeyond.com/changelog/827-character-sheet-changelog-early-june-updates

There's an option for a magic item that has a +/- selection that would be pretty handy to use in place of multiple listings. Or even the Pact v Slot option if you have a multi-class Warlock and Spell Caster, once a player hits "cast" have a secondary popup that asks "Level?" and by default it selects the spell level, but if applicable the player can hit a + icon to upcast the spell and it calls up the used slot from the character sheet.
