Homebrew Monsters Linking to Homebrew Spells

As of this posting, I cannot give my homebrew monsters links to my homebrew spells, unless I need to use a different tag from the [spell][/spell] tags. It would be very useful when building monsters to be able to link to the spells I've put in DnD Beyond. Whenever I use the spell tag right now it tells me the tool tip can't be found.
